comment Pre-Starter: There was a good selection of dips to go with the poppadoms but for the people who like lime pickle there wasnt enough of it. Not enough onions either. The poppadoms themselves were quite puffy rather than crispy - tasted nice just not crispy enough

Starter: I had the chilli garlic mushrooms. They were very nice but just not what I was expecting - creamy garlic mushrooms with a kick through it.

Main: I had chicken madras which was tasty but it was very hot for a medium/hot spiced curry.

Sides: We got some Tarka Dal after asking if they would do it for us as it was not specifically on the menu and that went down well at our table. The naans were nice enough but not garlicy enough for me.

comment The poppadums were crisp and tasty and there was plenty of accompaniments. Lime pickle was actually edible for myself (and I don't like sour so normal lime pickle fans weren't as keen).

Starter of Chicken and Mushroom puri was very nice. I would say next time I would order it hot, needed a bit more spice.

Main of Jaipuri Chicken was very tasty. Very well flavoured for a medium spice curry. Would definitely order that again.

There was lots of different sides floating around which I tasted some of and they were nothing special. There was also lots of Naan breads which were just put in spare gaps on the table which meant people probably didn't get a bit of a specific one they ordered, but that said all naans were tasty.

Service was let down by it being slow, waited over 15mins for the bill at the end which resulted in a lot of us guessing what we owed and having to run for the bus home.
Would go again but definitely in a smaller group.

comment Pre-Starter: The poppadoms were very crispy and the mango chutney was delicious. The spicey onions were some of the nicest I've had.

Starter: I had the Garlic Mushroom Puri, it was very nice and went really well with the chilli sauce provided. Would have liked a bit more garlic through it though.

Main: I had the Achari Murgh. Was a very nice tomato based curry which was very flavoursome and a medium spice. Would definately have again but maybe ask for it to be a bit hotter. The sides were very nice - I only had a small spoon of each just for a taste. Garlic naan was nice but again I would have liked more garlic.

Service was very attentive all night but a bit slow on bringing over the bill. Would say very good value for money.

comment Poppadoms were nice and crispy. There were plenty of accompaniments - more were added to our table on request and they were tasty.

Starter of mushroom puri was very nice. Added the spicy sauce to it to get a bit more spice though.

Main of murg zeera wala was very tasty. Chicken nice and tender and very flavoursome. Would definitely have again.
Sides of Tarka Dahl and Sag Aloo were great. Bit hit with my table.

My only gripe with the night would be the wait for meals. The first table had almost completed their main by the time we received ours. This did mean, more beer was consumed than normal which pushed the price up a bit.

Overall good night and I cannot fault the food.

comment Pre-Starters: The poppadum was nice and crispy. The accompaniments were tasty but not enough of them. Even I enjoyed the lime pickle (and I don't like it normally) so not sure how that would fare with lime pickle lovers.

Starter: Chicken pakura. It was very nice and the sauces that came for the table worked very well with the chicken. My only gripe would be they gave you 4 big pieces, bit large for a starter.

Main: North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken. I enjoyed my main very much. Nice level of spice and good flavour.

Sides: I had some Tarka Dhal and was extremely disappointed, no flavour. Garlic Naan was nice with about the right amount of garlic for me - very enjoyable.
